ANNOUNCEMENT

1. General Information

The 13th International Conference on Finite or Infinite Dimensional Complex Analysis and Applications will be held at the Department of Mathematics, Shantou University, China, in August 8-12, 2005.

Topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:

3. Program

The conference program consists of the plenary lectures (45 min) and invited talks (20 and 30 min). The plenary lectures and invited talks will be listed at the website of the conference http://www.sci.stu.edu.cn/icfidcaa/program/program.asp as soon as it is made definite. The final program details will also appear in the Program booklet, to be distributed at the time of registration.

4. Registration fee

All participants are asked to submit the registration form at the website of the conference http://www.sci.stu.edu.cn/icfidcaa/reg/register.asp at your earliest convenience, but not later than the end of May, 2005. The conference fee is 200 USD for participants. The fee covers all conference material, meals, banquets, coffee/tea/refreshments, and one day's sight seeing near the city of Shantou, transportation services between airport/hotel/conference site, during the conference. The corresponding fee for accompanying person is 100 USD. The registration fee is to be collected at the conference tables on August 8, 2005.

5. Abstracts and Proceedings

Abstract of all contributions (lectures and talks) should be submitted to the local organizing committee at the website http://at.yorku.ca/cgi-bin/amca/submit/capt-01 by June 30, 2005. Detailed instructions may be found at the website of the conference. The proceedings of the conference will be considered to publish. All speakers at the conference will be encouraged to submit articles based on their talks to the local organizing committee.

6. Travel information

Foreign nationals coming to China should have a visa. Professor Hasi Wulan will send you an invitation letter for your visa application if you need it. There are direct flights between Shantou and some international cities: Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and so on. The transportation from the Shantou airport to the hotels will be provided. Concerning exact travel information such as flight/train/bus schedules, please consult the website of the conference, which contains information and links to exact details. 8. Accommodations

Price: US$50 per room per night.
