报告摘要：In this talk, we shall talk about our recent work, which improves a geometric characterization of Gromov hypertonicity. This affirmatively solves an open problem rasied by Balogh-Buckley [Invent. Math. 2003]。Meanwhile, we develop an elementary measure-independent approach to establish the geometric characterization of Gromov hyperbolicity for general proper Euclidean subdomains, which addresses a conjecture of Bonk-Heinonen-Koskela [Asterisque 2001] for unbounded Euclidean subdomain。

报告人简介：王仙桃，湖南师范大学教授、博士生导师，1999年任湖南大学教授，2012年任湖南省首批二级教授，湖南省杰出青年基金获得者。湖南师范大学的湖南省十二五重点学科数学、中央专项计划项目数学、湖南省首届普通高校科技创新团队、湖南省普通高校教学团队的主持人。 国家级双语教学示范课程《数学分析》以及国家一流线下课程《数学分析》的主持人。主要研究领域为Klein群、拟共形映射、几何测度论以及调和映射。在国际著名数学期刊Adv.Math、Math.Ann等上发表论文80多篇。
