报告摘要：In this talk, I will talk about our recent work. Our recent works improved geometric characterization of Gromov hyperbolicity. More precisely, our works clean up the relationship between the two geometric conditions, ball separation condition and Gehring-Hayman inequality, solved affirmatively the conjecture rasied by Balogh-Buckley [Invent. Math. 2003]。Meanwhile, we develop an elementary measure-independent approach to establish the geometric characterization of Gromov hyperbolicity for general proper Euclidean subdomains, which addresses a conjecture of Bonk-Heinonen-Koskela [Asterisque 2001] for unbounded Euclidean subdomain。

报告人简介：王仙桃，湖南师范大学教授、博士生导师，1999年任湖南大学教授，2012年任湖南省首批二级教授，湖南省杰出青年基金获得者。湖南师范大学的湖南省十二五重点学科数学、中央专项计划项目数学、湖南省首届普通高校科技创新团队、湖南省普通高校教学团队的主持人。 国家级双语教学示范课程《数学分析》以及国家一流线下课程《数学分析》的主持人。主持国家自然科学基金8项。主要研究领域为Klein群、拟共形映射、几何测度论以及调和映射。在国际著名数学期刊Adv.Math、Math.Ann等上发表论文80多篇。
