报告摘要： In this talk, I will talk about our recent work. Our recent works develop a new approach to obtain a dimension-free multiplicative constant in the Gehring-Hayman inequality, and improved the Gehring-Hayman inequality indeed holds in Banach spaces. This answers affirmatively an open problem raised by J. Heinonen and S. Rohde in 1993 and reformulated by J. V¨ais¨al¨a in 2005.

报告人简介：黄曼子，湖南师范大学教授，博士生导师，国家优秀青年基金获得者，湖南省杰出青年基金获得者，湖南省数学会常务理事。近年来主持国家自然科学基金5项以及湖南省杰出青年基金项。研究领域主要为拟共形映射，几何函数论，几何测度论以及Gromov双曲理论，在国际著名数学期刊Adv.Math、Math.Ann、Math.Zeit、Cv.PDE等上发表论文40余篇。
