报告摘要：The spectral radius of a graph is the largest eigenvalue of the adjacency matrix of the graph. A graph is said to forbid a given subgraph if the graph does not contain the given subgraph as a subgraph. In this talk we will present some results on the spectral extrema of graphs with a given size and a forbidden subgraph, such as a clique, a cycle, a theta graph, a book graph, a friendship graph, a fan graph, and a wheel graph, etc.

报告人简介：李学良，1991年获荷兰屯特大学(University of Twente)博士学位，曾任南开大学杰出教授、博士生导师、组合数学中心副主任；国务院政府特殊津贴专家，教育部“组合数学创新团队”负责人等称号；曾任中国组合数学与图论学会理事长，天津市工业与应用数学会理事长、中国工业与应用数学会常务理事等。现任《Discrete Applied Mathematics, Elsevier》和《Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, Springer》等10余种国际杂志编委，《应用数学学报（中、英文版）》杂志编委，国际数学化学科学院副主席。数十次应邀去美、德、加、荷、英、日等国家和地区大学和研究所进行合作研究和学术交流。主要从事图论与组合优化、化学图论、计算机科学理论方面的研究和教学工作。在本领域多种国际主流传统学术期刊J. Comb. Theory Ser.B，Siam J. Discrete Math., Siam J. Computing, J. Graph Theory, Adv. Appl. Math., IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory等杂志上发表论文300余篇，在Springer等国际出版社出版著作10多部，在高教出版社等出版译著3部。主持和承担国家自然科学基金重点项目3项、国家自然科学基金面上项目10余项，并承担过“973”项目2项。培养博士后12人、博士生82人、硕士生38人。培养的毕业生中有获得教育部高层次人才特聘教授、中组部万人计划领军人才、国家教学名师、全国五四青年奖章获得者、基金委优青人才等称号，还有数十人获得省部级各类高端人才称号。
