报告摘要：In this talk we concern the dynamics of cooperative systems with nonlocal diffusions. It is well-known that the principal eigenvalue of the linearized system plays a critical role in investigating the dynamical properties of nonlinear evolution systems with nonlocal dispersal. However, due to the lack of compactness, additional conditions must be imposed on the coefficients to establish the existence of the principal eigenvalue. We first give the approximation of spectral bound for cooperative irreducible nonlocal diffusion systems. Then investigate a strictly subhomogeneous system, demonstrating that the spectral bound serves the same role as the classical principal eigenvalue. Finally, as an application, a West Nile virus model is studied.

报告人简介：王明新，1992年任教授，1998年任博士生导师，目前在山西大学工作。研究方向是非线性椭圆形和抛物型方程，在反应扩散方程、生物数学模型等方面做出了一系列有影响力的学术成果。已发表论文270余篇，出版中文专著6本，在CRC和Springer出版社分别出版英文著作两本，出版教材4本，参与编写了科学出版社出版的“数学大辞典”(王元主编)和大百科全书数学卷部分词条。作为第一获奖人，获教育部自然科学二等奖、江苏省科技进步二等奖和教育部科技进步三等奖各1次，获河南省青年科技奖、江苏省首届青年科学家奖提名奖、江苏省优秀研究生指导教师和华英文化教育基金奖。主持完成国家自然科学基金项目11项，在研一项；主持完成省部级项目8项。连续多年入选高被引学者和全球前2%顶尖科学家。
