报告摘要：Riesz transform measures the behavior of gradient operator and the square roof of the Laplacian operator, is deeply related to the quasi-isometries of manifolds. In this talk, we shall review recent developments on the Riesz transform, and its relation to harmonic functions and heat kernels. Then I shall explain recent progress towards weak-(1,1) boundedness of the Riesz transform on manifolds, without geometric or analytic assumptions.

报告人简介：蒋仁进，首都师范大学交叉科学研究院教授、副院长，首都师范大学学术委员会委员。主要研究成果包括：解决了度量几何中的调和函数、热核的正则性问题，系统发展了流形上的奇异积分理论，对特征值估计问题做出重要进展；成果解决了澳大利亚Hassell院士以及Coulhon-Duong等提出的关于Riesz变换的多个问题，对著名的Polya猜想取得突破；成果被包括近二十位ICM报告人国内外同行引用八百余次。先后获得国家优秀青年基金项目、天元重点专项等项目资助，入选欧盟玛丽居里学者、青年北京学者等项目。
