报告摘要：In this talk, I will introduce a general form of the Newton-Maclaurin type inequality. We have extended the Newton-Maclaurin inequality for elementary symmetric functions to the case of linear combinations of multiple elementary symmetric functions.

报告人简介： 任长宇，吉林大学教授，博士生导师，吉林大学唐敖庆英才教授，吉林省高层次人才。研究方向为非线性偏微分方程和几何分析，在 k-Hessian 方程和预定曲率方程的二阶导数估计等长时间存在的公开问题上取得了一系列的进展，主要成果被《Comm. Pure Appl. Math.》，《Amer. J. Math.》，《Anal. & PDE》，《Calc. Var. PDE》，《J. Funct. Anal.》，《Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN》，《J. Differential Equations》等国际高水平数学期刊录用。主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目1项，现主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项。
