摘要：In this talk, we will first review known results about the volume comparison with respect to scalar curvature. Then we will discuss about area comparison with respect to the mean curvature of hypersurfaces in Euclidean space. This talk is based on a joint work in progress with Professor Yuan Wei in Sun Yat-sen University.

报告人简介：孙俊，武汉大学数学与统计学院副教授。主要研究方向是几何分析，着重研究子流形几何相关的问题。主要结果在Crelle’s Journal, Math Ann., Calc Var. PDE, IMRN, Comm. Cont. Math, MRL等数学重要期刊，目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目。
