报告摘要:The six classical Painleve equations were introduced at the turn of the twentieth century by Paul Painleve and his school in the classification problem for second order ODE of special type. In this talk, we will discuss the asymptotics of the solutions of some Painleve equations and their applications in random matrix theory.

报告人简介：徐帅侠，中山大学教授，博士生导师，研究方向为随机矩阵理论、潘勒韦方程、正交多项式和渐近分析。主持国家自然科学基金项目3项和广东省杰出青年基金项目等课题。相关结果发表于Adv. Math.、Comm. Math. Phys.和SIAM JMA等期刊。
